Stevie Lewis goes on a Road Trip

Stevie Lewis is one of our absolute favourite illustrators. She fills each and every image with such wonderful character and imagination we simply can't get enough. Which is why we're bringing you this mini life story of a road trip Miss Lewis took a few years back. We've dug this out of her sketchbook from 2011 but it's just a fresh today as when she drew it.

It kicks off above with her graduation... and then...

It was hard to fit everything in my car, but it worked somehow...

I said goodbye to sunny, humid, flat, retirement community, Florida...

Stopped in new orleans for some gumboooo...

Then to shreveport, LA to visit Mike!! and Jason!! and friends...

We played fun games where we have to guess who we are...

I hallucinated when i drove at night...

And sung so loud during the day...

Taos, New mexico was the best...

Lots of asian tourists at the Grand Canyon ... I was one of them...

My mom and I literally almost died hiking up the Grand Canyon...

When i got home, i crashed...

I've just been hanging with my 7 dogs...

They stress me out sometimes...

But all is good, I start at Dreamworks in June! Life is good.
