Hate doesn't have to be depressing
An issue about hate? What have we done? Don’t panic, it’s not all doom and gloom, there’s a healthy slice of hope in there too.
So what have we got in store for you? Well, we don’t want to give too much away but we wanted to tell you about a couple of brilliant features coming your way.

First off we have a piece about the incredible work done by All Out in helping the LGBT community fight the hate they face around the world. It’s written by our very own Emma Seymour so it’s sure to be a classic.

We’ve also got a fascinating series of photos and interviews with some of the brave protesters currently fighting for what they believe in over on Taksim Square, Istanbul by a new contributor Jelle Rietveld with some help from a good friend of PoV Burak Isik. It makes for powerful reading on a subject we should all be paying more attention to. Find out more about Occupy Gezi on Twitter.
But there’s always space for more so we’re currently accepting submissions from writers, artists, photographers and poets with work that ranges from hate to fear to guilty pleasures. If you want to get involved send us a message right here.

Love bites
Well, we’re back.
After the excitement of the best of issue we’ve had a wee break but we’re now well rested and tanned and ready for another set of barn-storming issues of your favourite free online mag filled with great new art from all over the world. That’s us, by the way.
The Love issue is well underway at PoV Towers and should be flying onto your computer/iPad/smartphone screens within the next couple of weeks. Exciting eh?
It’s jam-packed with amazing work from some of our favourite people, some new some old. Talking of those exciting ‘new’ contributors we’d like you to meet our new friends, Love Bites. If you haven’t heard of them yet let us fill you in. Love Bites is a theatre company that have been around since 2008 and have produced over 30, brand spanking new and brilliant, one-act plays. Their annual show invites submissions on the shared theme of love, each time choosing a new location for the latest installment in the series. So far the plays have taken place in a restaurant, a bar, a summer wedding, a Christmas office party, a hotel room and most recently a cocktail party. Throughout the year Love Bites also produces one-off nights of new writing and rehearsed readings.
Right up our street I think you’ll agree. So much so, we’ll be featuring extracts from Love Bites scripts in both our Love and Hate issues. You’re in for a treat.
But if you can’t wait that long why not go along to their next show if you’re in London. In fact, even if you’re not, come on down and lets make a night of it. For more info and to get in touch check them out online here and on Twitter here.

Issue 4 – come and get it
The Human Condition issue is out now.
Great work for all over the world – so good you could eat it! But don’t, obviously, that would be stupid and we can’t be held responsible for any screen/throat/asphyxiation problems you may encounter.
As always, we’d love to hear what you think of it and we’d love it even more if you got involved with one of our future issues. You can do that here. And if you have trouble reading the magazine on screen you can always download a free PDF for keeps right here.

New posters
Today we unleash our new downloads page. This will be filled over time with posters, computer/iPhone/iPad wallpapers and much more.
We kick off with three great posters designed by our very own Ben Turner – the man who flicks the switches and turns the knobs on the design machine that makes our wonderful magazine.
It’s now over to you PoV-ers. Go and download the high res files and start posting them on blogs, print them and stick them on every wall you go past, send them to your loved ones and even your enemies.
We need your help to shove PoV in everyone’s face. Let’s spread the word…

Welcome to the symposium
In the words of a hobbit called Samwise, “well, we’re back”.
We know there haven’t been many updates recently on the main website but rest assured we’ve been beavering away behind to scenes to bring you even more great ways to enjoy PoV work from now on. Meet the PoV Symposium.

This is a site where we can showcase more amazing work by brilliant artists from around the world in between magazines. The idea is that if you are tempted to produce some work on a theme that we have already run or have something incredible you want to show off that doesn’t quite fit the magazine then we can still help you get it out into the world.
So if you want to see your work on the Symposium then send us your ideas at the usual place.
And in the mean time don’t forget to send us your work for issue 3. Theme: Identity.
